ITU Ventures announced today that one of their Portfolio Companies, Holochip, has unveiled a beta product at the CLEO 07 show. Holochip has been developing adaptive polymer lenses to meet demanding technical requirements - enabling engineers, scientists and consumers with innovative solutions for utilizing and manipulating light. The CLEO, Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, is the preeminent event for those in the laser and electro-optics community, and the perfect backdrop for Holochip's new product launch

Holochip's beta product, the HCX-1050 , is an adaptive singlet lens for optical research and engineering. Adaptive polymer lenses (APL) allow the focal length to be adjusted without moving the position of the lens, providing a rugged, compact, and reliable variable-focus lens solution that meets the most demanding industry requirements. The lenses manufactured by Holochip meet the most demanding technical requirements, enabling engineers, scientists and consumers with innovative solutions for utilizing and manipulating light
